What are We?
We are a Christian nonprofit
organization, consisting of people who have a common concern to
strengthen families.
What is a Community Impact Committee?
A Community Impact Committee of The Family Foundation is a ministry of a church or group of concerned citizens who want to be:
- Educated on Biblical principles for government and citizenship.
- Informed on issues affecting families.
- Engaged in promoting family-friendly activities and policy issues.
- Committed to growing in greater understanding and action in Biblical citizenship – that we have been blessed with the gift of United States citizenship and we must good stewards of this gift.
- Associated with The Family Foundation.
Will the Culpeper CIC help interested families if they are not
Christian?
Yes. Some of our programs will be geared toward people of any faith.
However, some of our programs will be meant primarily for Christians. We
will try to make that apparent when promoting a new program.
Will the Culpeper CIC help single parents or will it only help
nuclear families?
The 2000 census showed that less than 25% of kids are growing up in a
nuclear family (i.e. with a mom and dad). We do not want to exclude
single parents.
What is your position toward homosexuality?
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and as such serves as
our source of truth. We believe all sin is wrong. The Bible says
homosexuality is a sin.
