MONTHLY PRAYER, WORSHIP, & PLANNING GATHERINGS
-
Please pray for God's blessing for a suitable location, day, and time to resume the Culpeper CIC meetings. Hopefully we can gather for 90 minutes in some common meeting place (perhaps Common Ground) for a time of worship, prayer, fellowship, and planning.
-
From June 2001 until October 2002, the Culpeper CIC met ten times to develop and
begin sharing our strategic plan.
RADIO MINISTRY
- In April 2004, we began a local radio ministry to keep the vision of the CIC
continually before our community.

4th of July Celebrations
On July 4, 2003, thanks to the vision and efforts of Tim
Shields in cooperation with the Culpeper Ministerial Association, a few
Christian churches and organizations actively participated in Culpeper's 4th of
July festivities, bringing the "church" to the people. The 4th of July
event is the most attended of any event during the year for Culpeper and
represents a golden opportunity for evangelism. Please pray that active
Christian participation in the 4th of July event will increase each year.
Interaction with The Family Foundation
Phil Whitacre came to Open Door Baptist Church on Sept 24, 2002 to lead a
regional training seminar for active and interested
liasons, prayer intercessors, and CIC teams. Phil is the Director of Church and Community Outreach for The Family Foundation.
Maximum Impact Simulcast
The community's first Maximum Impact Simulcast took place on
Saturday April 27, 2002 from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM at Open Door Baptist
Church. This leadership development conference is open to Christian and
non-Christian leaders. Three renown motivational speakers spoke live
via satellite. A second simulcast took place in the Spring of 2003.
Nationally Renown Speakers
On
June 3, 2001 the Culpeper
CIC held its first major meeting at the Open Door Baptist Church
auditorium. The keynote speaker was nationally renown speaker David
Barton. Click here for more details.
